Pioneer Night

Getting into Magic: The Gathering but unsure where to start? Trying out Modern format, but finding it too difficult and pricey to get your hands on older cards?

Try Pioneer - the most recent constructed format in Magic: The Gathering!

Pioneer is a nonrotating format featuring cards from Return to Ravnica (2012) and forward. It is very similar to Modern, however the cardpool you can use is comprised of newer sets, eliminating those hard-to-find cards from 1990's and early 2000's.

Come by our 244 Swanston street store on Saturday, February 22nd, and give Pioneer a go! The event starts at 3pm with registrations opening at 2:30pm, entry fee is $5 and includes a booster pack to go into the prize pool.

Please bring your own deck, or contact the store in advance if you wish to borrow one for the night!
