The higher the statues are on the slope of the volcano, the more points they score! However, the closer they get to the crater, the more likely they are to be destroyed. Draft cards to build statues, score bonus points, and influence the direction of lava when the volcano erupts!

The players are archaeologists, travelling around the world to collect knowledge about 5 ancient civilisations - the Mesopotamians, the Greeks, the Cretans, the Egyptians, and the Palestinians. Then, players compete in excavating the historical sites of each civilisation. The archaeologist who learns the most about the civilizations, claims the greatest-valued artifacts, and collects the most exhibitions wins the game!
